An Associate Degree Registered Nurse, born in 1955 in Uzice. She finished Secondary Vocational Medical School in Cacak with excellent achievements. Since September 1st, 1974 she has been employed with the Clinic of Neurosurgery in Belgrade, at the intensive care unit. She graduated from the Medical College of Applied Studies in Belgrade in 1988. During many years of practice she has performed most demanding tasks falling within the scope of work of a nurse, such as the following: administration of intravenous, intramuscular and oral therapy and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. She has also provided adequate care of coma patients with intensive monitoring of vital signs and consciousness. She has actively participated in the preparation of patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, as well as in preparing patients for the most complex neurosurgical procedures. In terms of the postoperative course of recovery, she has been involved in providing health care and rehabilitation for bedridden and semi-disabled patients. During all years of service she has actively participated in educating younger colleagues, and, as a head nurse of the “A” ward, she has been in charge for the smooth operation of the ward. Since October 2015, she has been employed with the plastic surgery practice "RAKIĆ ESTETIC".

Selena is a pleasant, quiet and confident person. As a member of the team, she is the one who always understands the needs and preferences of other team members.
