If the skin of the upper arms is not too loose, the problem can be solved by doing exercise, by mesotherapy and by the application of PRP method. People who have lost significant amount of weight or who are of mature years can find a solution for such a problem in aesthetic surgery.
Surgical intervention
It is performed under local anesthesia, and rarely under general anesthesia. The procedure itself, performed on one arm, lasts for about 45 minutes. Patients are kept in the hospital for a couple of hours. The initial recovery lasts for 7 days, after which patients can resume their everyday activities, whereas certain more staining tasks should be avoided during the first month after the intervention.
This surgical intervention gives a permanent result, tight and nicely sculpted upper arms. The scar on the inner side of the upper arm is barely visible after a couple of months.
