If the volume and quality of the breast tissue is satisfactory and if the only problem is the excess skin, it is recommended to remove the excess skin (suspensio) under general anesthesia.

Breast lift is a procedure which significantly improves the appearance of the breast itself. This procedure includes reducing excess skin, reshaping the breast tissue, thus restoring the youthful, firmer shape of the breast. Nipples which were previously positioned low, facing downwards, are repositioned, lifted into a straight position, thereby obtaining youthful appearance. The incision made for this type of procedure has the form of the inverted letter “T”.

The scar that remains after this surgical intervention is usually pale and almost unnoticeable. The scar is acceptable, since the breast lift alone significantly improves the appearance of the beast.

Recovery after this procedure is short and painless, since no silicone implants are used. Follow-up examination must be performed within 5 days after the surgery. It is not recommended to do any physical activities for a month, during which period the patient is required to wear a medical bra. After one month, wearing this medical bra is recommended during the day and while doing any physical activity.

If the volume and quality of the breast tissue is satisfactory and if the SMALL quantity of excess skin is the only problem, we recommend the removal of the excess skin excess (suspensio) under LOCAL ANESTHESIA. Such a surgical intervention is simple, since the patient may go home immediately after the procedure.  

This procedure includes reducing excess skin and nipple repositioning, thus restoring the youthful, firmer shape of the breast. This procedure requires making an incision around the areola, which in certain cases extends along the middle of the breast up to its base.

The scar that remains after this surgical intervention is usually pale and almost unnoticeable.

Recovery after this procedure is short and painless. Therefore the patients can be discharged immediately. Follow-up examination is mandatory and must be performed just one day after the surgery, whereas the suture removal can be performed at the place of residence of the patient. It is not recommended to do any physical activities for a month, during which period the patient is required to wear a medical bra, both during daytime and at night. After one month, wearing this medical bra is recommended during the day and while doing any physical activity.
