The appearance of the buttocks depends on the development of the muscle, adipose tissue and the skin tone. This body part can become beautiful and desirable by regular and persistent exercise. However, as the years go by, the muscle tissue is gradually being replaced by adipose and fibrous tissue, and the excess skin also appears. If the excess skin is not so significant, excellent results can be achieved by redistribution of adipose tissue or by inserting silicone implants. In case of a significant excess skin, a surgical excess skin removal is required.
Buttock augmentation with silicone implants is a procedure performed in patients without excess fat. The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. The implant is placed into gluteus maximus through a small incision made in the intergluteal cleft. The size of the implant depends on the desires of the patient and the diameter of the pelvis. After the surgical intervention it is necessary to maintain impeccable hygiene, especially in the area of the surgical incision, to wear special underwear and to sleep on the stomach for 6 weeks. During that time sitting is prohibited, as well as intense exercise.
Buttock augmentation and sculpting with adipose tissue is a procedure recommended to persons with fat excess located in the region of buttocks, abdomen, hips or thighs. This intervention is performed under peridural anesthesia. The required amount of fat which is used for buttock lift and sculpting, is obtained by liposuction. After this intervention, patients have no limitations, they can return to their everyday activities quickly; they can sit and lie normally. 80% of body fat can be used.
